Acquisition announcement

Dear Valued Spanawave Customers and Partners,

We are pleased to announce that we have recently acquired the business assets of the following Giga-tronics Test and Measurement product lines: Microwave Power Amplifiers, Microwave Power Meters and Sensors, and Network Measurement equipment.

Giga-tronics is a leading manufacturer of microwave power amplifiers, microwave power meters, ATE signal switching and RF interface unit (RFIU) and microwave components and sub-assemblies. Giga-tronics will focus on the development and manufacturing of its ATE signal switching, and microwave components and sub-assemblies.

The acquisition of these Giga-tronics product lines is a major step forward in Spanawave's strategy to expand its product portfolio and add technological capability to create new advanced microwave test and measurement platforms.

The acquisition will be carried out in phases, during which , we will refer to these products as Spanawave/Giga-tronics. Our technical literature may mention either of the brands until the acquisition is completed.

To help all our customers with this transition, Liberty Test Equipment has been selected as the exclusive worldwide distributor for all Spanawave products; including power meters, power sensors/USB power sensors, microwave power amplifiers and scalar network analyzers. In addition, Liberty Test Equipment will be acting as our customer interface for all your technical questions along with all your calibration, repair, and in warranty service needs. We look forward to working with all Spanawave and Giga-tronics customers to continue providing excellent products and services for their microwave test and measurement needs.
